Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account data: Name and profile photo collected at registration.

Phone number: Collected during onboarding and verified via OTP. Used to identify your account and shared with turf owners when you make a booking.

Booking data: Turf, date, time slot, sport, booking status, and payment status associated with your account.

Payment data: We use Razorpay to process payments. We store only the Razorpay Order ID and Payment ID for record-keeping. We never store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Device data: FCM push notification token stored to send you booking updates. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising.

Location: Requested only to auto-fill turf address during registration. Not stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process payments and issue refunds via Razorpay
• To confirm bookings and lock slots
• To send push notifications about your booking and payment status
• To share your name and phone with the turf owner when you make a booking
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
• To respond to support queries

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in these cases:

• Turf owners: Your name and phone number are shared when you complete a booking at their turf.
• Razorpay: Payment details are processed by Razorpay Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. under their Privacy Policy and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, database, and push notifications. Data is stored in Google Cloud servers (asia-south1 region).
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Booking and payment records are retained for 12 months for dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page.

5. Security

Your data is stored in Firebase Firestore with role-based security rules enforced at the database level. Phone numbers are verified via Firebase Phone Auth (OTP). All payment processing uses Razorpay's PCI-DSS certified infrastructure. We use HTTPS for all communications.

6. Children's Privacy

MatchPoint is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@visionone7.in. Account deletion is also available in-app under Profile. Note: payment records may be retained for the statutory period even after account deletion.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
